She stays away from the spotlight, unsure of what others might see.
Doubt has taught her to hide, even from her own beauty.

Her face appears slowly through layers of gold and darkness.
First, her eye meets yours. Then the rest begins to take shape.
The rough strokes reveal fragments of someone who has never
quite believed she is enough.

Yet beneath that doubt is a beautiful inner world. There is warmth in her, kindness, sensitivity and strength. She cannot see those qualities clearly in herself, but they have always been there.

Hidden Pearl is a tribute to everyone who has ever felt too small or believed they were not good enough. It is a reminder that our beauty, inside and out, does not disappear simply because we cannot see it ourselves.
